There’s nothing quite like that dull aching pain. Knowing that the person that once wanted to be with you all the time now doesn’t want to be with you anymore. No matter how amicable a break is, its still painful, its like someones died. I just want to know what you do personally to pick your self back up and shake it off.
I imagine you will be getting a number of different answers which are based on the experiences of the person answering your question. However, you will find that it will not help you.
The only thing that heals a wound is time, and time alone. The reason time heals is that the synaptic pathways within the brain die off, or become less activated over time. It is a biological process that you have to allow to take place. To help it alone, don’t sit and ponder and dwell on it. Don’t try and figure out where things went wrong, what you did wrong, etc. You will find that slowly your pain will fade and you will find another who will make you forget your previous friend. So don’t fret and get on with your life because things will become better.
