My girlfriend and I dated for almost two years. She broke up with me about two weeks ago. She said that she still wants to be friends. I want more than friendship. Well she agreed to come watch a movie with me on Friday night and I want to know what the perfect romance movie to choose. Please help!
Look, I think you are making a bad move here. When the movie starts, she’s going to know exactly what you are doing. She just wants to relax and see if she can have you as a friend in her life
because she doesn’t want to just suddenly not have you around. She feels she’ll miss you too much. You don’t want to lose her from feeling that way. Playing a romantic movie will put pressure on her. You don’t want to put the pressure on her, it will totally put her off!
Just watch a regular movie vs a “date” or “chick’s” movie… and have no expectations. If it’s meant to be it will happen without any manipulation on your part.
Now if you’re set on playing a romantic movie anyways and you are going to ignore my recommendation to NOT do this, then here are some romantic movies: Fireproof, the Titanic, the Notebook, and When Harry Met Sally.

Fireproof. it is so romantic and funny. it’s a christain movie. i highly recommend it. it’s about this couple and a girl wants to get a divorce and the husband doesn’t want to. it’s the best but is more aimed at a married couple that is having problems and not bf and gf.
I know it’s totally cliche` but, The Notebook totally made me cry. That’s a really good one. But the girl who said Just Friends was a better choice. Have Fun!!!
Away From Her..if you really like her and want to be with her, this movie is deep and loving.

A walk in the Clouds!
Its super cute about a guy who comes back from war to find his so called wife and him have absolutly nothing in common and well he meets this amazing girl and pretends to be her husband so her parents wont freak out about her being unwed and pregnant. Long story short they end up falling in love depsite the family hatred toward him and in the end he becomes a true asset to the family.
One person said Defiance. This is a good movie, but there are some scenes with a lot of people being shot and blown up. I wouldn’t recommend it for this.
