Take a look at the following tips which tell you how to propose marriage:
1. You should already know or at least be 99% certain that she’ll say yes. You don’t want to look silly by being turned down. If you’re not sure she’ll say yes, then you probably haven’t been going out long enough!
2. You need to surprise her with your proposal! If she suspects anything then you need to change plans! Every girl deserves to be taken completely by surprise!
3. You’re thinking of proposing at the Football game? You need to be extra sure she’ll say yes otherwise it’s going to be a humiliating experience! You don’t want her to say yes simply to spare your blushes only to say no later!
4. Make your proposal personal! Never carbon copy somebody else’s idea you fraud! You should know her better than anybody else so this shouldn’t be hard for you!
5. Guard the ring! You’ll be amazed how many guys lose it or give it to an idiotic waiter on minimum wage to bring over with desert!
6. Go down on one knee! I know it’s corny and cliche but every girl dreams of having a proposal like that!
7. Practice! Practice exactly what you’re going to say to your friends, the dog, in front of the mirror etc! You’ll feel stupid, but otherwise she’s going to tell all her friends about how you stuttered over the most important words of both your lives!
8. Relax and enjoy it! This is your big moment after all! As long as you’ve practiced, you know exactly what you’re doing and you’ve planned for every eventuality then you’ll be fine!
9. Timing is key! If you’re proposal is in the spring, then you could be waiting a whole year to get married, or change your mind! If you propose during the winter then it’s only a few months until spring arrives and the perfect time for a wedding!
